To diagnose the disorder, your doctor will review the signs and symptoms you have, and your medical history. The doctor may also do a physical exam.
Your doctor may ask your partner when and how you snore to assess the severity of the problem. If your child snores, you will be asked about the severity of his snoring.
Diagnostic imaging
Your doctor may order an imaging test, such as an X-ray, CT scan, or MRI. These tests look at the structure of the airway, such as a deviated septum.
