Be careful, do not confuse bay leaves.
There are ornamental laurels which produce beautiful pink or white flowers.
These are cherry laurel, Portuguese laurel, tin laurel or oleander…
Some of these leaves are very toxic . They should therefore not be used.
The aromatic species is laurel or noble laurel which can be used in cooking to flavor dishes.
It is the leaves of this species that should be used to purify your home .
